I am having a very similar problem. I am getting this message.

0 - DateTime::__construct(): Failed to parse time string (Never) at position 0 (N): The timezone could not be found in the database

This happens on the front end when i select a Place to edit.

I am using the latest Joomla 3.4.4
PHP Version 5.5.27

I have asked elsewhere about where to find the GmapFP version number
