Small important reminder: It is possible to move from a free version of the GMapFP component to a Pro version, but not the other way around.
To migrate to D4 you must:
- Update your version of GMapFP for J3
- Disable GMapFP extensions
- Migrate your site to J4
- Update GMapFP by installing the corresponding version for Joomla 4
- Enable GMapFP extensions
- Check the correct functioning of all your pages using GMapFP.
GMapFP is a component that was born with Joomla 1.5.
In order to guarantee complete compatibility with Joomla 4, the component has been completely rewritten and there are therefore notable differences which cannot be updated automatically.
