Cannot seem to tget the list sorting OK with US st

I came into this project mid stream.

We have a map at mtauburn.us/property-mngt/interactive-map

When you are on the entire US, the list does not seem to sort properly. I have tried about every combination including unordered and using the 'ordering' in the menu item for this map.

The code was customized by a previous developer so I'm not sure how much of the problem is from any modifications they may have made.



What we are trying to get is the list to be sorted by state, then city, then property name. For some reason, the order just doesnt' seem to take. We have our city in the 'ville' field and the state in the "Department' field. I'm not sure if the issue could be differences in the US/French postal systems.

I would greatly appreciate any help. Please let me know if you need me to attach any files from the installation. PS - we are using the free version I believe.

I'm having this problem as well.
In Joomla menu item for gmapfp, in gmapfp tab, in Ordering drop down,
I selected "Article Manager Order" option, but this doesn't work.

There is also "Add to the query WHERE condition"
is it possible to put something there?
